To most of the settlements that play the role of entry points to the High Scardus Trail, public transport operates at a relatively low cost. The disadvantage of this transport is that it is of limited capacity and is infrequent. An alternative to public transport is the use of taxi services offered at affordable prices from ten to 15 euros for a distance of 20 to 40 kilometers. For transport between major cities and tourist centers we recommend using public transport, and for transport from settlements to the entry points of the trail we recommend local taxi transport. Information about local taxi drivers can be obtained from the local population.
